Welcome to [In]Tangible, the blog run and edited by the London College of Fashion’s MA Fashion Cultures students (previously MA History and Culture of Fashion).

Our aim is to explore the complex, sometimes juxtaposing ideas between fashion and academia. As costume, dress and style interpolates with many other areas of culture and society, so too does this forum.

Our students come from a variety of academic backgrounds, including anthropology, film and archaeology as well as many diverse practical design fields and we like to think this reflects the great multiplicity of writing you’ll find on this blog.

[In]Tangible is a place for students to publish their research, bring to light various discussions initiated in our lectures, and to critically analyse our diverse ideas on the wonderful cultural phenomenon that is fashion.

We’d like to welcome you into our academic journey as we attempt to understand the tangible and intangible.
